Cela fait plusieurs fois que j'utilise la conversion avec ConvertXToDVD et jamais je n'ai eu de problème avant même avec une conversion totale de 4h30. J'ai converti 2 films: un de 1h49 qui fait 717kb en avi et un autre de 1h41 qui fait 716kb en avi.

Normalement mes conversions tourne autour de 4,30GO pour pouvoir entrer sur un DVD mais la conversion des 2 films m'a donné.... 6,53GO donc impossible de la faire graver sur un DVD de 4,7go. Ma question est: pourquoi ou pour quel raison ConvertXToDVD a fait une conversion si grosse pour des films totalisant même pas 4 heures ?

Bien choisir DVD-5.
Quelle version utilises tu ? quelles sont tes choix d'encodage ? disposes tu déun graveur double couche ?

Je n'ai absolument rien changer à mes fonctions de gravure. Mon choix d'encodage était bien de DVD-5, ma version est la 2.0.14.130.
Dans le log que je suis allé voir il était inscrit:

J'ai fais un teste de décompression avec 3 autres films et la décompression m'a donné 4,3 Gb. ce qui est la taille normale de décompression.

ton fichier log indique qu'un seul fichier a été chargé.

Comment t'y prends tu pour tes deux fichiers tu les fais séparemment ?

Si oui, mauvaise méthode, il faut charger les deux films ensemble en choisissant ajouter un fichier dans le menu "Fichier"

Je fais toujours lorsque j'ai plus d'un film ensemble, ajouter un fichier dans le menu "Fichier". Ce log est la 2e fois que j'essayais de faire la conversion de ces deux mêmes films. Mais cela ne m'a donné qu'un seul fichier ou film encodé dans le log que j'ai mis précédemment. La première fois les 2 films étaient encodés mais avaient eux aussi une taille de 6,53Go .

P.S. Les nombreuses fois ou l'on voit:

Dans le log, c'est qu'à cette 1e fois de conversion, je n'ai pas remarqué la grosseur du fichier terminé de plus de 6 Go étant habitué à n'avoir qu'un fichier de 4,3Go.
Le DVD vierge étant à chaque fois éjecté, je pensais que cela pouvait être une erreur de fabrication du DVD mis et remettais un nouveau DVD vierge.

l'un est en pal l'autre en NTSC 29.97 FPS

Je n'avais pas remarqué cette différence de sortie vidéo. Car dans ma configuration, options, format de la télé j'ai toujours mis l'option: Automatique. Est-ce que c'est mieux de mettre NTSC au lieu de l'automatique ? Je suis retourné dans mon log et pour tous les autres fichiers l'automatique donnait en NTSC.

Comme je suis au Canada elle devrait être NTSC donc? et non automatique? Mais la 1er fois, elle était en atomatique, à donner en NTSC mais a fait un fichier de plus de 6Go là le problème, ce 6Go

C'est un graveur DL, je ne vois nulle part dans le fichier log qu'un DVD à été inseré (Inserted media type : DVD+R), ni le type de Media

Quel type de DVD utilises-tu

mais comme le fichier faisait 6,53Go et non pas comme cela devrait être de 4,3Go. A chaque fois, le DVD était éjecté car naturellement il n'y avait pas assez de place sur celui-ci (4,7Go)

J'avais essayé en premier 3 DVD-R Verbatim puis DVD+R Verbatim. Mais le problème n'est nullement les DVD qui sont tous ok car j'ai refais une autre décompression avec d'autres films, décompression qui a fait comme il se doit 4,3Go et la gravure s,est trèes bien déroulé.

Ce que je me demande est:
Pourquoi une si grosse décompression qui fait 6,53Go ??????

P.S. lorsque tout est ok, normalement le Inserted media type : DVD+R
ne vient qu'après que le DVD soit bien accepté par ConvertXToDVD et que la gravure commence
