Tout d'abort une nouvelle version d'EAC est sorti le 21.02.06
V0.95 beta 4

The german magazin c't published an article whether EAC is or is not violating a german law against circumvention of copy protections on audio CDs. Some of the experts they asked had the opinion that the function of retrieving the native TOC is working at the limit of legality, at best. Due to that article and to eliminate any possibility of legal problems, I decided to remove that function (although I am pretty sure that it is absolutely legal). I always try to make sure to be fully compliant with german law, even if I would interpret the law absolutely differently.
Anyway, there are at least some few bug-fixes in this update, e.g. creating an image having the artist and CD title as filename will now show the file dialog properly when special characters are used.
For the next version it is still planned to add test & copy of CD images and for the version after that I will try to implement Unicode support for freedb queries and main window display and edit.
I am sorry about all this, but please understand my point of view.

Je régle les options "drive feature" pour mes 2 graveurs : Plextor Premium et Plextor PX-716A.
J'ai effectué un "Detect read feature" et j'obtiens :
Caching : Yes
Accurate Stream : Yes
C2 Error Info : Yes
J'ai lu que l'option "Drive is capable of retrieving C2 error information" posait problème. J'aimerais savoir si je dois la laisser cocher.

Je n'ai pas constaté de problèmes, mais j'ai lu la :

et sur un sujet de hardware.fr que ca posait des problèmes.
C'est pour ca que je voudrais savoir si c'est toujours le cas.

1) Concernant EAC garde la V0.95 beta 3 car si l'auteur a retiré la fonction "retrieving the native TOC " c'est pour se prémunir contre la législation allemande et ne pas avoir d'ennuis (il développe le programme gratuitement et on ne peut pas honnetement lui demander plus pour un si bel outil).

2)L'option "Drive is capable of retrieving C2 error information" pose problème pour certain graveurs et donc dans le doute il vaut mieux s'abstenir. Mais dans ton cas s'il y a des graveurs fiables sur la détection de C2 c'est bien les Plextors et tu possède 2 des meilleurs. A ta place je le laisserai coché, c'est ce que je fais moi-même et je n'ai pas eu un seul problème de rip lors de mes nombreux tests (et je ne suis pas le seul !!!)
