Bonjour à tous.
J'ai acheté un graveur dvd-ram LG ( 4167b ), tout allait bien depuis.
J'ai formaté récemment, réinstaller le firmware dl13 pour ce graveur mais il ne reconnait plus les dvd+r vierges !
Par contre, ceux que j'avais gravé précedemment il arrive ( après longue attente ) à les lire tout de même.

Config:
Athlon XP 2800+.
1go ddr 3200.
samsung 160go.
Xp pro sp2.
Lg 4167b en master.

Merci d'avance, j'ai parcouru beaucoup de forums mais je n'ai pas trouvé de rélles réponses à mon problème...

As tu bein suivi les recommandation du constructeur :

GSA-4167B Version DL13 Firmware Update
To update the firmware of the GSA-4167B please refer to the following instructions:

Note: Not following the subsequent update instructions explicitly will result in
permanent damage to your drive, for which LG will not be responsible.

This firmware update is for drives with original firmware versions below DL12.
The drives must be original LG branded drives with the DVD Writer
model number GSA-4167B(no OEM units).

If you have an OEM unit, branded with another manufacturers name,
please contact that manufacturer for support and firmware updates.

This firmware update is for use only on PC's with Windows XP, Windows 2000,
Windows Millennium Edition (ME), or Windows 98SE.

¡Ø Critical Instructions: (to be followed carefully)

1. Connect the drive as 'master' by it self, on the secondary IDE controller with
no other device on the same IDE cable, making note to set the jumper on
the back of the drive to the "master" position.

2. Download the file GSA-4167DL13(EW).ZIP to a folder of your choice.
This download includes this "Read me(ew)" text file, as well as the GSA4167DL13.EXE
program, which will auto-update your drive's firmware.

3. Close all other programs including: screen saver, antivirus and/or power-down programs.
(If these programs are not closed, they will try to engage the PC, during the update process,
thus interrupting the update and damaging the drive).

4. Check the drive to ensure that there is no disk in the tray
before you start the update procedure.

5. Go into the folder with the update file and double click the GSA4167DL13.EXE program
and click the 'update button (red). Once the update is complete,
you will see "Firmware Update Complete" and the button will become green
and advise you to reboot the system.

¡Ø You will need to reboot your PC
The update will be complete, after you reboot your system.

¡Ø WARNING:
Do not open any programs or start any system functions during the update,
as they will interfere with data transfer and damage the drive.
Do not cancel the operation once it has been started or the drive will
become permanently damaged, as a result.

SUr que ce n'est pas un graveur OEM ?

Bonjour Scaramanga. Merci d'abord de ta réponse.
J'ai su ( by google ) qu'une version oem est une version dite "sans rien à part le produit".
Donc tu as raison pour ça : j'ai acheté mon graveur sur cdiscount.com (sans vouloir faire de pub), et j'ai donc eu le graveur seul & la facture.
Donc je dois faire quoi ?
Il est écrit si j'ai bien compris qu'il faut contacter le constructeur ( en l'occurence LG non ? ), mais encore...? Je sais comment tout ça ? ( je le fais pas exprès )
